I am a retired pediatrician who enjoys family history. I have technical skills and love to serve as a missionary at the local FamilySearch Center here in Idaho Falls, ID. This website was developed as an instructional site to help others find resources to help them with 1) Discovering their heritage, 2) Preserving their heritage, and 3) Connecting their hearts to their ancestors and to their posterity.
Over the years of immersing myself in family history efforts, I have learned so much about my ancestors and their lives through newspapers, books, photos, census records, and more. I also enjoy passing this story information on to my posterity through emails and text messages.
I also remember that I am an “ancestor” to my children, grandchildren, and one day great-children. As an ancestor, I have tried to preserve many of my life stories for my posterity so they can learn more about me and my experiences in life. Isn’t that an important part of life, to connect ourselves to our heritage, both living and deceased?
