Editing Your Photos

Improve Their Appearance

There are many different photo editors out there to choose from. There are many common tools that have very similar functions. More powerful photo editors have more powerful functions built into their tools. Tools can be things such as the Crop Tool, Levels Tool, Curve Tool, and many others. Each tool allows you to edit something different on the photograph.

There Are Two Basic Functions When Editing Photos:

1) Performing color correction, meaning to improve things like contrast, brightness, “off colors” like greenish/reddish/bluish tints, and so on.

2) Restorative editing such as removing imperfections, scratches, lines, and such.

Bring your digital photos on a flash drive or hard drive. We will use the FREE app called “Affinity” for the main editing app, but could also use photopea.com for simpler edits.
